Curb Appeal Grant

This program provides a matching grant as an incentive to property owners to enhance the exterior appearance (curb appeal) of their property.  The program is available to residential owner-occupied or rental properties.  Participants in the program must provide a minimum of 25% matching funds up to a maximum award of $7,500.

This program is available to:

  • Residential owner-occupied or rental properties in Qualified Census Tract (which are shaded in gray here:  https://arcg.is/ezzvX).
  • All projects must be visible from public sidewalk and/or street right-of-way (typically within the front and side yards).

INELIGIBLE PROPERTIES - A property which has any of the following conditions is ineligible: 

  • Owner who owes the City of Green Bay any money or debt such as delinquent property taxes and/or outstanding citations.  This does not include loan balances associated with other City programs..  
  • Has an open Correction Notice.  Applications that are submitted for projects that will close a Correction Notice will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Property that has received Curb Appeal Grant Program funds within any of the three categories are not eligible for another grant for a minimum of 12 months. 
  • Properties owned by a current elected official of the City of Green Bay or by a government entity.
