Guide for Guests with Special Needs
It is our goal to provide a safe, affordable, and enjoyable setting for family recreation. Some of our guests may have needs that will affect their use of the park. This information will assist our guests with special needs in planning an enjoyable visit.
Handicap Accessible parking stalls are located in each parking lot. They are conveniently located and marked by the standard wheelchair symbol/sign.
Access to Main Pavilion
Our Main Pavilion houses basic park services such as restrooms, food, beverages, arcade games, and first aid. Access to the Main Pavilion is gained via entrances on the North and South sides of the building.
Access to Concession Stands
Our outside concession buildings are accessible for wheelchairs.
Access to Rides
The following rides are available to our guests in wheelchairs (some rides require additional lifting):
- Bay Beast
- Big Wheel
- Bumper Cars
- Ferris Wheel
- Granny Bugs
- Lady Bugs
- Race Cars
- Rockin' Tug
- Zippin Pippin
Please note that most rides will require additional lifting to enter these rides for our wheelchair guests. Our ride operators are not permitted to lift or carry a guest from a wheelchair.
Each ride has its own loading and unloading procedures that our ride operators would be happy to explain. If a guest is unable to wait in line, exit clearance may be granted to that person, plus up to three companions, to assist in loading and unloading. Guests using an exit clearance pass will be allowed to board the next ride first. An "Exit Pass" is available at the ticket window.
Safety is a top priority of our entire staff. Ride Manufacturers, Safety Inspectors, and Park Management set the guidelines to protect all park guests. Please assist us by using your best judgment as to which rides are safely accessible for our guests with special needs.
- Ride tickets are required for each person participating in the ride.
- Bay Beach does not have wheelchairs or strollers on hand for rent.
Have a safe and enjoyable day at Bay Beach Amusement Park! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our staff.
