Beginning in July of each year, the NFL begins team training camps, with the Green Bay Packers holding their public viewing of Training Camp off of Lombardi Ave and Oneida streets. Soon after this, the Operations Division begins the arduous task of scheduling uniformed officers, to ensure the safety of the players and fans of both pre-season and regular season NFL football games. Each home game draws over 80,000 people in attendance with another 5,000 fans to the region.
